Tsampou Beach | The Wild Beauty of Samos

Tsambou Beach is located in northern Samos, east of Kokkari, in a spectacular bay surrounded by green slopes and rocky formations. It is one of the island’s most popular and photographed beaches, thanks to the combination of wild natural scenery and crystal-clear waters.

The shore is mainly covered with coarse pebbles, while the waters are deep, extremely clear, and usually cool, due to sea currents and exposure to the northern Aegean. The beach is ideal for strong swimmers and for those who enjoy more dynamic sea conditions, and on windy days it can have noticeable waves.

Tsambou is partly organized, with umbrellas, sunbeds, and a beach bar in part of the area, while there are also free sections for visitors who prefer a more natural setting. Above the beach, tavernas and cafés operate with views over the bay, offering easy options for food and rest.

Access is via an asphalt road with a downhill route, and there is parking space near the beach. The view while descending toward the bay is impressive and is a distinctive part of the experience.
