Limnionas Beach | A Hidden Paradise in Samos

Limniona Beach is located in southern Samos, west of Ormos Marathokampos, in a small and sheltered bay surrounded by steep rocks and low vegetation. The area maintains a strong natural character, with the mountain descending almost directly into the sea, creating a particularly scenic landscape.

The shore consists mainly of small pebbles, while the waters are exceptionally clear and often turquoise, with excellent visibility. The sea deepens relatively quickly, making it ideal for those who enjoy swimming in deeper waters, as well as for snorkeling near the rocks, where the seabed is especially interesting.

The beach is partly organized, with umbrellas and sunbeds in part of the area, while nearby — mainly in Ormos Marathokampos — there are tavernas, cafés, and accommodation options. At the same time, there are quieter sections for visitors who prefer a more natural and less organized environment.

Access is via an asphalt road with a downhill route leading to the bay, and there is parking space near the beach. The view from the road shortly before the descent is impressive and is a popular spot for taking photos.

Limniona combines clear waters, dramatic natural relief, and basic facilities, making it one of the most characteristic and beloved beaches of southern Samos.
