Kaladakia Beach | The Hidden Gem of Southwest Samos

Kaladakia Beach is located in southwestern Samos, below the village of Koumaeika, between Koumaeika and Ormos Marathokampou. It is a small, sheltered cove with white pebbles and exceptionally clear, turquoise waters, which become deep quite quickly and are ideal for swimming and snorkeling.

Access is from the provincial road Koumaeika – Ormos Marathokampou via a short downhill footpath, which helps keep the beach quiet and away from heavy traffic. The landscape is strongly rocky, with steep slopes that “embrace” the beach and create the feeling of a secluded natural refuge.

Kaladakia is not an organized beach and has no facilities, which helps preserve its authentic and peaceful character. It is an ideal choice for visitors who want to avoid crowded beaches and enjoy the sea in a more natural, almost “secret” setting.

Kaladakia Beach is located on the southwestern coast of Samos, not far from Ormos Marathokampou and the village of Koumaiika.
Access is easy via an asphalt road, followed by an 850-meter cement road.
You can park at a free parking area, then walk about 250 meters on foot to reach the beach.
