Kambos is very close to the coastal area of Perri and the Psili Ammos Perri beach, giving it easy access to the sea, though it is not itself a coastal village.

Road from Skoureika to Kambos
It is officially referred to as a distinct settlement for the first time in 1971, when it was recorded under the then community of Skoureika.
According to the Kallikratis administrative plan, along with Skoureika, Perri, and Pefkos, it forms the community of Skoureika, which belongs to the Municipal Unit of Marathokampos in the Municipality of West Samos. According to the 2011 census, it has 7 residents.
